Instructions: Contempt is an emotion defined as feelings of dislike, disrespect, or superiority. Please rate the following items about your feelings with your (Insert Group) in mind, that is, being a(n) (Group).

Correlations: American Identification (r = .31), Nationalism (r = .42), Patriotism (r = .09, n.s.), Private Collective Self-Esteem (r = -.13, n.s.), Public Collective Self-Esteem (r = -.01), Political Orientation (r = -.23, higher scores indicate a liberal orientation), Contempt Subscale of the Differential Emotions Scale (r = .44)
